Metal Moments

Welcome on the Metal Moments page. On this part of my  blog I tell about my exercises in metal. Here you can go to the Archive of Metal Moments

Quite some years ago when I was an apprentice of Kërstin Öhlin-Lejonklou in Sweden.

Sometimes it will be just 5 minutes that I have time,  other days I can spent hours working on a piece. But it isn’t important how long but that I did it.
Habit forming is a goal in that respect.

For the purpose of experimenting I use a lot of copper. A beautiful metal with a rich red color. But titanium, silver and sometimes even gold will play a part. On The Materials I will explain a bit more about them.

The categories list at the right is a reflection of my interest field. It are materials I want to explore or techniques learning to master. It may inspire you, so go and have a look!

If you are curious about my other activities,  you can have a look at La Leipsig Jewels where I sell my jewelry and www.zilveren-akelei.nl which is my corporate website.
